Ercé médical centralizes its medical activities in Veyziat
Stem from the acquisition of two companies from the healthcare industry, Ercé Médical, one of the three business sectors of Ercé plasturgie group from the Rhone-Alpes region, became in few years a significant actor of the conception, manufacturing and commercialization of medical devices for the healthcare industry.
On 2013, Ercé Médical moved forward by building a new plant in Veyziat, in Oyonnax “Plastics Valley”.
With a covered surface of 4 000 m² on a field of 22 000 m², with 700 m² of ISO 7 and ISO 8 clean rooms, Ercé Médical has a high performing industrial tool, being also a subcontractor registered at the FDA, and ISO 13485 certified.
For purposes of rationalization and to give access to its whole customer portfolio with that high performing plant, Ercé Médical has decided to centralize its entire manufacturing means in Veyziat plant.
All products manufactured in Bezons plant (Val d’Oise), more specially dedicated to the manufacturing of its own brand products, such as pediatric pipettes or granule dispensers will be transferred to Veyziat plant.
In light of this, Ercé Médical extends its Veyziat plant by adding a clean room to its existing ISO 7 and ISO 8 clean rooms. EC marking of products that requires it will be obviously maintained. Production transfer is scheduled by the end of 2014.
Thus, in January 2015, Ercé Médical will be fully organized to deploy its growth strategy in the healthcare industry. More than 70 employees will work on this site, with around 20 injection machines and dedicated automatic lines.
